As a measure to improve quality in clean rooms, clean technology has primarily been developed and nurtured in the semiconductor industry. Since then, many companies across various industries have adopted clean technology, significantly contributing to quality improvement and productivity enhancement. In recent years, the introduction of clean technology has accelerated in a wide range of companies to respond to the low prices of clean room equipment due to the advancement of deflation and the strict quality demands from general consumers. However, the reality is that few companies have effectively utilized the special working environment of clean rooms in a meaningful way, merely introducing them in a formal manner without linking them to management results through quality and productivity improvements. In this seminar, based on the instructor's specific experiences and concrete examples, we will explain the means to effectively utilize clean rooms not only for quality and productivity improvement but also to connect them to the company's management results.
